Visit from New Zealand!

We recently had a visitor at Griffin Scouts, Chris Muddiman with his son and daughter arrived all the way from New Zealand!  Chris was a Studley Scout himself as a youngster and was delighted to be reacquainted with Ken who was his Skip then and is still with us. Chris’s dad was an assistant scout leader and Group Chairman back in the 80s! Chris is now a scout leader at Devonport Scouts in Rangitoto Zone in New Zealand where both his children have scouted. We proudly presented Chris with a current necker and group badge as well as a copy of our history book covering the first 50 years of Studley Scout Group. Chris’s current group is somewhat older having been founded in 1908!  As we say in Studley… once a Studley Scout ALWAYS a Studley Scout!!
