Studley Scouts feature in this year’s National Scout Honours!
How proud are we at Studley Scout Group to spot two past Studley Scouts amongst this year’s scout honours list!
We attended Matt’s presentation in December when he was awarded the Cornwell Award for his bravery and continued scouting in the face of health challenges. We are so proud of Matt and all he achieved whilst a Studley Beaver, Cub and Scout and we continue to enjoy hearing about his achievements as a West Warwickshire Explorer Scout.
We are also very happy to spot Paul Blackmore’s name, he was presented with a Chief Scout Commendation for Good Service Award! Paul is an integral part of the team who make Warwickshire County’s Get In Camp happen, he was also part of the National Scout Media Team reporting from the World Jamboree in Korea last summer. He’s often still found supporting Studley Scout Group at various events.
As I’ve always said to all our members; “Once a Studley Scout, always a Studley Scout”, you’ll always be a part of the Studley Scout Family and we are very proud of you both!
