St George’s Day celebrations for all West Warwickshire Scout Families!
Information for Studley Parents
St George is the Patron Saint of Scouting, and every year the scouting groups from our district come together to celebrate. This year will be an activity day, similar to last year’s event in Henley, however this year will be hosted in Tanworth in Arden.
As last year, each group in the district will be running at least one activity, and all sections from the district will be invited to attend with their families.
This is a free event, but we will be collecting donations for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Drinks and cakes will be available.
When you arrive at 1pm please meet with your section leader at the Studley Scout Group tent, your leader will then know that your child/young person has attended and therefore can put all the activities towards badge work. You will then be free to look around as a family and choose which activity to do first! Most activities will be open to children of all ages (including siblings not in scouting), with a few exceptions. In the middle of the afternoon, we will all be getting together for presentations and for scouting members to renew their promise.
Please note this is an outdoor event so please dress for the weather!
